Finally posting!

So, I've got those people nagging me to post something on my blog. I admit that I was being lazy to update, and I didn't even add people back on the link.. But, hey. I hadn't anything to post on! Urm, not 'nothing at all', though :P

Just to be a little cheeky, I was kinda busy. And I'm not even lying(I don't lie! I can't!)! .....I was busy reading books, writing some stuff, playing piano, listening to radio, watching movies on HBO, watching Travel&Living channel with my mum, going to the Spring by myself(which sounds like a total loner and a loser but it's quite fun to be at places like that on your own, sometimes!), having some waffles, eating chicken rices and tuna sandwiches, playing games(mostly on-line, I confess ;P), drawingscribbling not on my sketch-book, chewing some bagusttes with milk, et cetera et cetera.

Now, here's a book I've been reading for past 2~3 days. I picked it up from a second-hand bookshop in KK city last year, and soon gave up reading because there were too much slangs in it. WAY TOO MUCH OF'EM!!!

2 gals living in NY(not sure whether they still do, but just assuming that they do,) wrote this bunch of crap and it's full of slang, SLANG, SLANGS!!!!!

The name of the main char is 'Girl', as shown on the cover(Charming, eh? A 'Citizen Girl'!). She's like this feminist working in a non-profit division of somewhere with this horrendous bosse, and gets herself fired by the end of the first chapter.

Yeah, 'Doris' is the boss' name, and this pic above is how the very first chapter of this book starts off with. A charming title, very eye-catching, but is sort of risky as well. I'm referring to myself as in last Friday's English class, when I brought this book in with me.. Mel was looking at the book and went "woow", at the sight of this fabulous title, and then someone walked over to our desks and bent over to see what Mel was woow-ing at.

Very fortunately for me, Mel quickly covered that part after the 'Mind', and there was no more visible foul language on that first page. All my thanks Melissa, and then she went like, "Hey, throw that away, now," after the class(LOL)

Now, a little warning before you scroll down.

... and so much more.

Well at least I think it was an okey time killer :P

  1. Yay! A new post! Lol.

    Omg.

    What a horrible book.

My jaw literally dropped when I saw all those F-words.

I can't stand books that use too many swear words. It's so unnecessary and disgusting.

You wasted your money =P (IMO)
